Husaria – the legend of Polish military
This elite unit of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was responsible for many victories even against overwhelming forces. Hussars were heavy cavalry units, wearing plate metal body armour and equipped with a long lance as their main weapon. Over 40 horses performed during the 2008 reenactment in Warsaw making it the biggest event so far.
