The longest wooden plank in the world as registered in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2002. The plank is 36.83 m long and it was made of a 51.2 m high Douglas fir from the Szymbark forest. The plank, as well as many other objects made of wood, such as a house built upside down, can be seen in CEPR of Szymbark.
